Oleaginosa RAATZ processes about 360,000 tons of cereals and oilseeds annually. In addition, strict quality controls are carried out on the raw material and finished products in the industrial processes.

These products are destined to the production of edible refined oils, balanced animal feeds, concentrate feeds and mineral salts that are commercialized within the country as well as Mercosur countries, Europe, Asia and the USA.

Milestones that turned dreams into realities
In 1967, entrepreneur brothers Lauro H. and Ricardo Raatz Reckziegel, founded Oleaginosa Raatz Brothers Company, starting as a tung oil storage, processing and manufacturing plant
The company ventures into the animal food business and the brand “INDABAL” emerged.
The company begins to produce edible oils after expanding the oil refinery plant and increasing the capacity to 2.25 tons per hour. The brand “PUROITE” is launched.
A loan from the Industrial Development Fund (FDI) is obtained to carry out the investments for the installation of a solvent extraction plant with a capacity of 400 Tn per day, soy base. The company changes its name to Oleaginosa Raatz S.A.
The company starts to process Canola and Sunflower seeds and a state-of-the-art laboratory is installed.
A poultry production farm is incorporated and marketed as “POLLO REAL”.
